HoRiSS is a Christian-founded, refugee-led organization working alongside refugee and host communities in Imvepi. Our role is to create practical spaces where dignity, skills and hope can grow.
OUR BEGINNING
It began with one small class.
Hope Rising South Sudan began in 2020 with a Sunday School class at Imvepi House of Prayer. A small beginning, shaped by faith and the needs of our neighbours.
Today, we are a Christian-founded, refugee-led organization supporting refugees and host communities through education, livelihoods, psychosocial care and peacebuilding. The people closest to the challenges are part of the solution.
